Food Inventory Management App

Overview

As a team, we developed a quality assurance platform on the blockchain to monitor several variables, including the calibre of laddus, the range of safe limits, and so on, in order to produce qualitative statistical reports.

Role & Responsibilities

My responsibilities as a UX designer included requirement gathering, documentation, wireframing, storyboarding, prototyping and testing.

Background

As previously stated, This is a food supply chain company that has created an entirely new concept in the production of laddus.

They have several factories that make laddus in and around India. The client requested that we create an application that would allow them to track and manage all of the factories and their machines using block chain technology.

The process

After receiving the client's complete requirements, I began writing user stories for the application. It was written in a way that would benefit the teamĀ and organisation in a variety of ways, including:

1. Optimized Delivery Value

2. Stimulates Collaborative Efforts

3. Enhances User Engagement

4. Clear Product Components

5. Elevates Transparency

6. Fosters Mutual Comprehension

7. Mitigates Risks

Once the user stories were completed, I began working on task flows and journey maps, converting the results into wireframes and collaborating with the team for feedback.

Here are some quick mockups I made while experimenting with different layouts.

Results and takeaways

Working on this project was an entirely new experience for me. I am extremely grateful to the team and the client for their patience throughout the entire journey.

The most important thing I learned during this project is that no design can be completed in a hurry, and good designs may also take some time.
